All pieces created by Fairy Wings & Bony Things are handcrafted using sustainably sourced natural materials, including preserved insects, bones, botanicals, and crystals. Due to the organic nature of these components, variations and imperfections are both normal and expected.

Natural Variations

• Insects may not be A1 quality. Minor imperfections, asymmetry, wing fraying, colour variation, missing antennae/limbs, or small repairs are common and part of the natural individuality of each specimen.

• Bones may have natural cracks, texture differences, weathering, or missing teeth. These characteristics reflect the life of the animal and are intentionally preserved as part of the piece.

• Botanicals & Natural Materials may vary slightly in colour, shape, or size depending on seasonal availability.

These natural variations are accounted for in the pricing, and discounts will not be given for them.

Handmade Nature

Every piece is created by hand; therefore, slight differences between product photos and your specific piece, may occur. These differences contribute to the uniqueness of each artwork.

No art piece is ever made twice. If there is a piece you love that already sold we can do our best to make something similar but the same materials may not be available.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Due to the fragile and one-of-a-kind nature of our products, all sales are final.
We do not accept refunds, returns, or exchanges for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Natural imperfections in insects, bones, or botanicals

• Colour variation or texture differences

• Change of mind

• Mishandling after delivery

If your piece arrives damaged during shipping, please contact us within 48 hours with photos so we can assist. You may be required to ship the item back to us at your expense.

We currently do not ship our 3D pieces due to their fragile nature. Most of our 3D pieces are encased in glass containers that cannot be easily replaced. These pieces can only be Picked up or sent through local delivery.

Do You Ship Outside Of Canada

No, We do not ship outside of Canada.

Tariff and import costs make shipping to the USA quite expensive. If you are in the USA, willing to pay these additional costs, and would like to place an order, please send us an email with your details and we will do our best to work with you.
